Meet Dave

Hi, I'm Dave, a web designer. I've been designing and building websites for 25 years, and Coastie Websites is my chance to do the work I enjoy most, directly for the local businesses around me.

In 2025 my family and I left England and settled in Whangaparaoa, on the Hibiscus Coast. I started Coastie Websites on a simple belief: a good website shouldn't be something only big companies can afford. Local businesses deserve one that looks professional and is easy to find, at a price that makes sense.

When I'm not building websites, I'm usually exploring the coast with my family, attempting to keep our chickens out of trouble, or fixing something around our new home.

I like being useful and helping people out where I can. It's a big part of how I like to work.
